Pizza crust - Multi grain flour 2-3/4 cup, semolina flour 1/2 cup, 1tsp sea salt, 1-1/2 lukewarm water, 2 tsp yeast, 2 tsp sugar. 500F 12min.
Pizza base - Pesto
Pizza topping - Chicken, yellow pepper, sun-dried tomato, feta cheese.
I've never used pesto sauce for pizza base, semolina flour for the crust. I even used cast iron skillet instead of pizza stone to bake. All these changes gave us a BIG shock! The pizza baked on cast iron skillet which is much more crisper than on the stone. It's really amazing, another BINGO after Tuscany! Once you try it, you won't be visiting your neighborhood pizzeria very often. |
